Ladies and gents, primarily ladies: Please do not find the following recipe offensive, but rather coming from a real dude. If you don't find this recipe one that you would like to add to your personal "favorites", pass it along to your man. I'm sure he can relate. Either way, give it a try, lots and lots of friends are raving about the "giant dude burger". Thanks S.B.
From S.B.'s mouth to MNH: I don't have a "recipe," exactly; nothing written down anywhere as far as amounts. But here goes:
Ingredients:
--Big-ass package of lean ground beef (or ground turkey). Err on the side of more ground beef. Seriously, what you want is a shitload of meat. My wife never puts enough meat in those sons of bitches when she makes them.
--"Bricks" of rolls, like the King's Hawaiian brand, I think it's called. Comes in bags of 12 rolls stuck together 3x4. You have to take a good knife and cut through the whole brick so you've effectively got one huge bun.
--One of those big bags of shredded cheese, whatever kind you want to use.
--A couple packets of onion soup mix
Directions:
1. Brown the beef in a giant pan, then mix in the cheese and the soup mix.
2. Stuff as much of the seasoned, cheesy meat inside your 3x4 buns as you dare. A baking sheet should fit two bricks for 24 sliders.
3. Bake the sliders for 10 minutes or whatever just so the buns are nice and warm and toasty.
You be done, baby.
