When friends rave about a product, I'm all ears. Last night, while out with friends, a new acquaintance went on and on (in a good way) about the Aquage Boar Bristle brush. Here's the scoop:
It will not yank your hair out or hurt your scalp when brushing.
(perfect for sensitive heads)
Detangles thick, curly, and textured hair.
Smoothes and defrizzes wavy and curly hair when blow drying.
Eliminates static (good to know, going into fall/winter)
Like the Mason Pearson brush, it redistributes natural oils from root to tip, allowing you to wash it less while making hair healthier, shinier.
It's about $30 and available at local salons and online.
*For our St. Louis readers, it's available at Dominic Michael in Clayton.
Any other ideas about where to get this brush? I have had wonderful luck with tips and recommendations from MNH, so I went out immediately to get this…Dominic Michael is out of stock; online vendor says “out of stock/discontinued.”
