Coco BonBons Raincoats

Adorable Coco BonBons raincoats are on SUPER-SALE at Zulily.com.  I just bought the Whale raincoat for my little girl but it was real toss up between that one and the Sea Party.  Both are so cute!

Snack Basket

When it comes to after-school play-dates, we all want our house to be thought of as "fun house."  Research actually shows that having a "fun house" actually helps foster healthy social development and popularity among peers.  It also suggests that having good snacks is big part of having a "fun house."  We love the idea of an after-school snack basket so kids aren't rummaging through the pantries.  Choose a variety of options so there's something for everyone.  You don't have to buy prepackaged preservative packed snacks either.  Create your own baggies of snacks or store in stay-fresh containers.  It seems that the best way to a man's, and child's heart is through the stomach!

Silly Bandz

Silly Bandz are the latest kid rage.  We are seeing them everywhere.  Kids are wearing them at camp, on the playground, and at the pool.  They come in so many shapes and colors, girls and boys are layering them up and wearing them like we used to wear jelly bracelets.  New but nostalgic!

The Princess Bride

The 1987 Rob Reiner film, The Princess Bride, that we all know and love (and if you don't, you should) originated from the 1973 novel written by William Goldman.  The humorous dialogue in the movie is taken directly from text with few adaptations.  The book combines elements of comedy, adventure, fantasy, romance, and fairy tale.  It's a great bedtime story and a perfect gift for Dad this Father's Day.
